By Sophia Lee Perfecting Pinterest Review (Before and After REAL Results)

In today’s blog post, I’ll be sharing my honest review of Sophia Lee’s Perfecting Pinterest course.

I’ve been blogging for more than 2 years and was BARELY making cents, I really wanted to know that making money with a blog was possible.

Until, that’s when I stumbled across Sophia Lee’s course. First of all, Sophia Lee is a 7-figure blogger, who has made hundreds of thousands of dollars from Pinterest and affiliate marketing.

I took the plunge and invested money in her course, and well…the rest is history. In this post, I’ll share with you my results before and after, and my honest review about her course.

If you’re asking me whether or not this course is worth it, my short answer is yes, – it is 100% worth the money!

I honestly owe it to this course because it has helped me earn my very first $600 in monthly affiliate income as a blogger. Now I regularly make affiliate income every month thanks to this course.

First off, if this is your first time hearing about Perfecting Pinterest and you heard about it through another blog or Sophia Lee, herself, and you’re looking for honest opinions and reviews, you’ve come to the right place.

But before I get into the nitty gritty of things, let me share with you what the course is about.

What is Perfecting Pinterest?

Perfecting Pinterest was created by Sophia Lee, a 7-figure blogger, who gets much of her blog traffic from Pinterest.

Sophia Lee is a blogger and business owner who’s absolutely crushing it with her business, BySophiaLee.

She started her blogging/business journey in her college dorm room when she was a student. Fast forward, and she’s turned her blog into a super successful 7-figure business, making 6 figures per month (which is insane).

I remember stumbling across her Pinterest pins because I was a college student myself looking for dorm ideas and her pins are always ranking at the top of Pinterest.

Her website is basically the top authority when it comes to anything university and college dorm-related.

Okay, before I jump into the course, I also want to explain why Pinterest is important especially for you newbies out there! When I first started with Pinterest, my strategy was so bad, haha. I basically didn’t have one. A huge part of it was I didn’t understand why Pintereset was essential for my blog.

After applying the strategies and tools used in Perfecting Pinterest, that’s when I really saw my Pinterest AND blog traffic go up. Because they go hand-in-hand.

Why is Pinterest important?

Why is Pinterest so important? Because it’s a visual traffic source that can bring tons of people to your website or channel. This could also lead to people buying products from your website through affiliate links or sponsored ads.

To break it down, I like to think of it this way:

People click on your pins -> brings traffic to your blog -> views can bring ad revenue, affiliate income through people making purchases on your website, more brand visibility

So long story short, Pinterest is a blog game changer because aside from Google, Pinterest is the most popular traffic source that allows people to visually see your pins, click on them, and be lead directly to your website.

My REAL results: Perfecting Pinterest Review

Before taking her course, my Pinterest account was taking a BIG hit in the wrong direction. I had already been blogging for almost 2 years, and I felt like I had no growth strategy at all. I only had 3 pins doing well (but they were seasonal, which is around when I screenshot these stats).

I didn’t know how to make my Pinterest traffic consistently grow.

I felt frustrated and hopeless with my blog’s future.

To be honest, I was really hesitant to spend $$ on her course at first.

I didn’t know what to expect at all.

I also have purchased many courses in the past that made me feel like I wasted my money. But I finally took the jump and couldn’t believe how much this course actually changed the trajectory of my blog.

How Much Is Perfecting Pinterest?

As I’m typing this, Perfecting Pinterest costs $247, which is the typical price of a course. To some people, it might seem pricey, but I think she honestly is being very generous with her prices.

I can say that because I finished the course and everything I learned was extremely valuable and worth the investment. Of course when you first look at the price of any 3-figure course, you’re going to ponder over it.

But when you think about it, $247 is like 49 $5 Starbucks drinks, haha. And if you buy Starbucks almost everyday, that could add up to $200+ pretty quickly.

In my opinion, I’d want to use some of that money to spend on something that I could have a return on investment like a blogging course. For me, that happened to be Perfecting Pinterest!

Perfecting Pinterest Pros and Cons

Okay, now we’re going to jump into the pros and cons of Perfecting Pinterest, based on my personal opinion.

Perfecting Pinterest PROS

Include 9 modules + a BONUS Section! I’ve found her modules to be very educational and helpful to apply to my Pinterest account. I’ve purchased a Pinterest course from another blogger before, who doesn’t go as nearly as in depth as Sophia does.
Sophia guides you through each step of her Pinterest strategy, starting from her Pinterest account setup and board management, to her secret techniques for pin design and scheduling.
You get access to her exclusive Facebook group. This is the only (and I mean only) FB course group that I regularly check because everyone there is so supportive and it feels like a close community. These are people just like you and me who are determined to work on their blogs. It’s also not spammy at all, and the best thing is that Sophia and her team will reply to comments every now and then!
She actually walks you through how she creates her viral pins and specific keyword strategies she uses to bring traffic to her pins.
Sophia and her team regularly update the Perfecting Pinterest course so none of her strategies are outdated (last update was July 20, 2023)

Perfecting Pinterest CONS

There’s a paid keyword research tool she mentions. Sophia mentions a keyword research tool called Keywords Everywhere that costs $10. So if you’re looking for a free SEO, keyword tool, do keep in mind that she uses this tool as a part of her Pinterest strategy. I actually bought it because $10 comes with 100,000 keyword searches which could last you 5 months.
You can only get a full refund if you don’t go past Module 1, which is only the introduction to her course. So if you want a full refund, you can’t go past Module 1. In my opinion, I think there could be a way for customers to get an inside look of Module 2 Perfecting Pinterest and then decide from there.

Key Takeaway

Okay, clearly the pros outweigh the cons. I seriously tried to keep this as honest as I could. I tried to think of another thing I didn’t like (haha) but I couldn’t because it has helped me so much. The pros really outweigh the con for this course, in my opinion.

In the span of my 2-year blogging journey, I have purchased over 8 courses, and I can say Perfecting Pinterest has been one of the best blogging courses I have taken.

Okay, so now that I’ve talked about the pros and cons of Perfecting Pinterest, here is probably the juiciest part of this blog post!

Is Perfecting Pinterest worth it?

100% yes. Trust me, I’m not a special person, who just got lucky. I’ve had my blog for more than 2 years was barely making a few dollars.

That’s why this course basically changed my life because I finally understood the power of Pinterest. I felt like I finally figured out the magic of making money on Pinterest.

So personally for me, Perfecting Pinterest was worth every dollar to me because I even made back the money I bought from this course and more.

Who should avoid Perfecting Pinterest?

If you are a Pinterest expert and have been in the game for years, then maybe some of the beginning modules may seem repetitive to you. Though I do think Sophia’s audience is able to reach a wide range of people, there’s always something to benefit from her strategies in the course.
You don’t have a goal in mind to grow your blog or traffic because it’s more of a hobby to you. There’s nothing wrong with that, of course. It depends on what your goals are!

Final thoughts about Perfecting Pinterest

As you can see from my stats, I can say that Perfecting Pinterest is 100% worth it.

I really had no direction and strategy with how and when I was posting my pins. I was barely getting any traffic to my blog.

Now, my blog traffic and affiliate revenue continue to grow because of my Pinterest growth all thanks to Sophia Lee’s course.

I’ve purchased a good amount of blogging and Pinterest courses, and this definitely is one of the best courses I’ve taken.
